My daughter has been going to this daycare for three years now. She has always been excited and happy to go there and came back home with a smile on her face. She has been properly prepared to start school in every possible way. Ms Leticia and Mr George have always been helpful during this process and her time here. I can only recommend this daycare to everyone.

Wooden Shoes is a great facility! My son has learned and grown so much since starting there over 2 years ago. It is very clean and the staff is nice and friendly.

This Daycare is one the best Daycares in Sarasota my son started last year in 2024 and he has made friends and a great connection with his teachers. I know my son is in good hands and would not have him in any other daycare. The staff is very presentable and nice people as well as the owners. A little more than two years ago Laura and I began interviewing daycare facilities for our then 1 1/2 year old son. There are several good facilities in this community, but a few great ones.Henri has been a student of Wooden Shoes during an important time in his life. From the time he enters the facility he is escorted to a classroom specific to his learning environment. The weekly meals are provided for the students and an email weekly is provided for the parents. my son has made many friends and his interaction with other students is evident. The staff is totally professional and caring, a great quality for their responsibilities. Both Henri and we are totally satisfied with this facility and its staff

I absolutely love this daycare! My youngest daughter goes now, and my oldest daughter went. She's now in second grade, and in the summer, she loves going for their summer program. Both of my daughters have learned some Spanish, which is just an added bonus.

My children attended Wooden Shoes for over a year and I cannot say enough good things about this place. I went to work every day knowing and trusting my children were well taken care of. The facility has a nice, clean environment. The teachers are very loving. They truly care about their students. They serve REAL & HEALTHY food!! My children absolutely love Wooden Shoes! The owners are just wonderful people who treat each child like their own. They really want the best for each child. Involved, attentive, and genuinely caring. The curriculum and meals served have gone above my expectations! I toured several preschool/daycare programs in Sarasota and was thoroughly impressed by this school. Every single educator knows both of my kids by name and everyone always seems to be in the know about everything which is awesome. The school is ran so wonderfully. Both of my children’s teachers are providing daily updates, offering advice/resources and working with my children on anything they may need. I always feel peace and comfort knowing my kiddos are in such good hands. 🤍

I would highly recommend Wooden shoes to anyone looking for a quality childcare center. The staff and teachers are super friendly and passionate. The center is super clean and they provide healthy meals for the children. My 3 year old son is learning so much there and I couldn't be happier.

I loved having my daughter at Wooden Shoes. The first day I walked in for a tour the smell of a place freshly cleaned and disinfected hit my nose. Which was huge for me. The classrooms were beautifully decorated and well taken care of. I honestly felt like my daughter was safe here and I have toured A LOT of daycares in Sarasota. I would pass on a lot of them. I’m picky. I was confident in my choice every day that I dropped her off because Jorge and Leticia had built such a great relationship with my daughter. I would notice that she would walk right in without hesitation or crying which gave me a huge feeling of relief on my way to work. The director, Miranda was also amazing! We recently moved out of state and I haven’t been able to find a daycare that gave me the same safe feeling. If you needed a sign to pick Wooden Shoes, this is it.

I absolutely love Wooden Shoes! There are so many things I love about this place. I don’t even know where to start. My daughter which is 24 years old today attended this place when she was 2 years old with a different owner.

My grandson Raphael has been attending Wooden Shoes for over 4 years and my granddaughter Clara is there for over 2 years she loves miss Martha and so do I. She always does Clara’s hair. We love it. They are genuinely happy and so are we!

Honestly, I can't be more grateful for Mr Jorge, Leticia, Miranda, Miss Martha and everyone who works there. The staff is so professional, dedicated, caring, with love and compassion. I can truly see the teachers love my grandkids and they loves them too!

My family loves Wooden Shoes! My daughter has been attending since last summer. I was a little apprehensive about changing centers because she had only been enrolled at one school previously since birth. We were received with a warm welcome by both owners and all of the staff and my daughter is thriving. She has made many great friends and looking forward to her being in VPK at Wooden Shoes in the fall.

My 2 children attended Wooden Shoes and absolutely loved it! They loved the teachers, staff, friends, classrooms and playground. I loved how all elements of the day were so well administered- learning, playtime, meals, etc. The school is owned and run by a wonderful family who genuinely love the kids and want the best experience for each.

Wooden Shoes offers quality service in every way! Learning activities and creative art crafts always go hand on hand with my baby’s day by day.

The place is always clean and tidy and smells great at any time. Also they use an app that allows me to be in contact directly with the teacher and keep track of all the daily activities

And finally, the preventive measures they have implemented lately make me feel more secure! A health check-up before entering! The owners are always there and they are very friendly and professional! Congratulations guys! I am really happy to have chosen you to care for my grandson! We really appreciate all you do!!

Wooden shoes daycare has been a great fit for my son. The directors are so wonderful and accommodating. They go out of their way to communicate with the parents and make sure everyone is happy and comfortable. My son loves his teachers. Ms. Luz has been amazing and I feel comfortable leaving every morning knowing he is ok and happy. Thank you wooden shoes daycare for all that you do!
